Description
Seals for shielded connectors, military and industrial applications. These items can be made in different materials and thicknesses according to customer needs.
Standard Types
Materials
- Electrically conductive SILICONE or FLUOROSILICONE for EMI shielding and water sealing.
- FILLED SILICONE (code SF) features the arrangement of conductive metal wires inserted orthogonally into expanded or solid silicone and is die-cut according to the design.
- CONDUCTIVE EXPANDED SILICONE (code SEC) can be directly deposited on connectors, reducing costs associated with silicone quantification. Compared to molded solutions, it reduces waste, especially for small-sized cords.
- CONDUCTIVE NON-WOVEN and PET PU offer various alternatives when water sealing is not required. We use raw materials such as electrically conductive non-woven fabric, loaded with nickel and electrochemically treated, available in thicknesses from 1.5 mm to 3 mm for easy compressibility. These materials can be provided with adhesive backing.
Thermal sealing reaches up to 160°C thanks to the polyester yarn and nickel plating treatment. If greater compressibility combined with good elastic recovery is required, an expanded material with a conductive fabric can be used, offering both compressibility and ease of elastic restoration.
